ICE NINE KILLS And AMC THEATRES Unleash 'Welcome To Horrorwood', An 'AMC Thrills & Chills' Film Series For Month Of October
September 17, 2026This October, AMC Theatres, the largest theatrical exhibitor in the United States and the world, is teaming up with horror metal icons ICE NINE KILLS to bring some of horror's most unforgettable films back to the big screen for "Welcome To Horrorwood", a month-long AMC Thrills & Chills series at approximately 300 AMC locations across the U.S.
Inspired by ICE NINE KILLS' "The Silver Scream" and "The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood" albums, and in partnership with horror entertainment brand Bloody Disgusting, the series pairs the band's love of horror with five films that have helped define the genre: "Hostel", "Friday The 13th", "American Psycho", "Pet Sematary" and "The Crow". Each screening will also feature a custom introduction from ICE NINE KILLS frontman Spencer Charnas before the film, followed by the band's corresponding music video inspired by the feature.
"Welcome To Horrorwood" takes over Friday and Tuesday nights at AMC throughout October, with all screenings beginning at 8 p.m. local time. For Halloween weekend, "The Crow" will be featured as the Friday night title on October 30, and returns for a special Halloween night screening on Saturday, October 31.
All tickets are available at AMC Fan Faves discounted pricing.
"It's a bloody honor to present this selection of modern horror classics with the mighty AMC Theatres and our friends at Bloody Disgusting. Metal music and marquee movie mayhem. What more could we ask for this October?" said Spencer Charnas, frontman, ICE NINE KILLS.
"Horror has long been a favorite among moviegoers, especially during the Halloween season, and were always looking for new ways to give fans more opportunities to enjoy these films on the big screen at AMC," said Ryan Wood, senior vice president and head film buyer, AMC. "These are movies people know and love, and its exciting to bring them back to theatres in a unique way."

Led by Spencer Charnas, the internationally acclaimed ICE NINE KILLS blends extreme metal with melody, as evidenced by the densely catchy songs on their two breakthrough albums, "The Silver Scream" (featuring RIAA gold single "A Grave Mistake") and "The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood". They have amassed more than to billion global streams and over 500 million YouTube views. They have toured with SLIPKNOT and were handpicked by METALLICA for the "M72" world tour.
The INKverse boasts a series of cinematic music videos; mock "true crime" books; graphic novels; "Nightmare On The 9th" merch drops; and the annual Silver Scream convention in Worcester, Massachusetts, not far from the North Shore birthplace of ICE NINE KILLS. 2025 closed with a headlining performance at OVO Arena Wembley and the first Silver Scream Con London. 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of ICE NINE KILLS' first album.
The horror community Spencer loves has embraced his band in return, with collaborations with major franchises and a growing presence at Universal Studios' "Halloween Horror Nights". For "Halloween Horror Nights 2026", ICE NINE KILLS composed an original score for "Terror Tram Starring Art The Clown", twisting classic Christmas songs into the soundtrack for Art's blood-soaked takeover of the historic Universal backlot. "Terrifier 3", the highest-grossing unrated film, features "A Work Of Art". "Scream 7", which had the biggest opening weekend in franchise history, boasts "Twisting The Knife" (featuring Mckenna Grace) which delivered the band's first No. 1 at Active Rock Radio and hit No. 1 on Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs . "Hell Or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler Pt. 2)" appears in "Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come".
In summer 2026, INK entered the world of survival horror game hit "Dead By Daylight" with "Play Dead", and it was announced that Spencer had been invited to voice a character in the brand new "Halloween: The Game" — another bloody step forward, foreshadowing INK's most devilish surprises still to come.
To round out 2026, ICE NINE KILLS announced this week that they will be appearing as part of "Unwrapped: An Acoustic Holiday", six not-so-silent nights this December also featuring acoustic performances from Brent Smith and Zach Myers of SHINEDOWN, Zakk Wylde of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT, THE WARNING, Ayron Jones, SUBLIME and more. Tickets go on general sale on Friday, September 18 at 10 a.m. local time.
